collective of writer-editors for publishing in the Internet age
We take our name from the god Thoth, who introduced
hieroglyphics to the Egyptians over 12,000
years ago — thus enabling scribes to represent spoken sounds with
graphic symbols, the origin of all writing.
We hope that publications of Thoth Books will stimulate
exchanges in
your head with other things you've read or thought, as part of the
unending conversation begun by our remotest ancestors and first
annotated many millennia ago by ibis-headed Thoth.
